This was the first photography session I held at my new home “studio” in Modesto. I put quotes around studio because I really prefer the look of natural light, posing and atmosphere to the traditional studio set up. This little one’s mama was up for experimenting a little bit with me and I am SO happy with how they turned out! It was a very relaxed atmosphere and we were able to go at the baby’s pace.

This sweet baby was not only beautiful but very easy to work with. She was happy and easy to get a big grin from! We started out in the living room “studio” and then went into my back yard for some beautiful photos in the sunshine.

The Almond blossom mini sessions were a great success! The families that came were so genuine and sweet and full of love!

I did not anticipate however, the effect of working in a blooming almond orchard for 5 hours. I was COVERED in yellow pollen and my eyes were blood shot for days afterward. It was totally worth it though, and I have had many people ask about next year already! I was so excited to be able to photograph Taylor. She has beautiful and unique eyes and an amazing energy about her. We went to downtown Turlock for her Senior Portraits and she had no problem striking a pose in front of quite a few people who were going out for dinner across the street. It was a ton of fun, mostly because she laughed at all my stupid jokes and made my job super easy with her fantastic smile and attitude.

Ahh! I love this little cutie! She has a beautiful spirit and exudes energy and sweetness. She was a trouper too doing this shoot on a nice brisk modesto morning. Happy birthday!
