How long is the session?
You should plan on about 2 hours for your family session. I take group photos, candid moments, and individual portraits of each person. The most beautiful photo I can take is of a natural moment. To accomplish this I don’t want you to feel rushed or hurried, so we plan on 2 hours.
Where do you do the family sessions?
I have a number of locations we can choose from in Modesto and around the central valley. I enjoy on location natural light photography for family sessions, so we do the sessions outdoors during the last few hours of daylight. However, I also LOVE in home lifestyle sessions. If this is something that interests you, let me know and we can chat about it!
What should we wear?
I can help you pick out clothing that will coordinate but not be too “matchy matchy” if that isn’t your style. Jeans, black and white with pops of bright color are great! Pinterest is a great place to find inspiration for your clothing choices. We can work together to make sure you look fabulous!
Should we bring anything?
Please feel free to bring a family blanket to sit on, a football to throw around, or anything else that is natural for your family. If you have something special in mind, let me know so we can make it work!
When will we see our photos?
Every image you receive will be edited, so it take about 2 weeks to get your gallery up online. Usually you can expect to see a sneak peak on Facebook or my blog in a couple of days.
Do you offer prints or digital files?
I offer both! Every session with me includes the digital files on CD with a print release. Every session can be customized to your exact needs. I also offer a complimentary in home consultation for your print and wall art selections. We can discuss the best sizes for your rooms and the best products for your family. I also love to create custom albums for your family to treasure and flip through for years to come.
