When should I schedule our Newborn Session?
I do newborn session in the first 10 days of life so it’s important that you schedule your newborn session by 32 weeks. I understand that little ones come when they choose so I am as flexible as possible if they are unexpectedly early or late!
How long does the session last?
It depends on the baby, but a session can last from one to four hours.
Where does the session take place?
I take the newborn portraits on location in Modesto and the surrounding central valley, or in my home studio in Modesto. For some families it’s easier for me to come to you. For others it’s easier to come to me, so I can have everything ready and it can go a bit quicker. I have a very comfortable feeding and changing area so you can feel right at home.
What should we bring? How should we dress the baby?
I provide all the props and wraps, so there is no need to worry. Newborn sessions also include some “lifestyle” photos of family members with baby. Family members should consider wearing solid tops. Often there are important or sentimental items that you might wish to be included in the photos. Please let me know so I can include them.
When will we see our photos?
Every image you receive will be edited, so it take about 2 weeks to get your gallery up online. Usually you can expect to see a sneak peak on Facebook or my blog in a couple of days.
Do you offer prints or digital files?
I offer both! Every session with me includes the digital files on CD with a print release. Every session can be customized to your exact needs. I also offer a complimentary in home consultation for your print and wall art selections. We can discuss the best sizes for your rooms and the best products for your family. I also love to create custom albums for your family to treasure and flip through for years to come!
